NESHL.com
NESHL.com, the country's largest independent men's hockey league - required a custom site architecture to make it easy for the administrators to update schedules and standings for the entire league. This site was built in Xaraya - with custom content types, and other open source Xaraya modules tailored to their needs. All of the schedules and standings are now updated by the league commissioners.  Custom Javascript components were built out of prototype.js - some cutting edge work.

Courage Matters
Courage Matters does inspirational presentations for large groups on moral relevance in our society. They needed a site FAST to supplement a book rollout and multiple speaking engagements. This site was done in 4 hours since they had their content ready to go! Another Joomla site delivered in record time.

Mike Quinn Productions Inc.
After three years of business, the overhead with maintaining customer data was getting too high.  Free Range came in to build a customized relational database to warehouse his legacy data, and build a new customer list for his calling operations.  It was designed to also import data from remote data entry staff, and export data for use by publications.  Click here to see screen grabs of the solution!

Next, a complete office network with file, print, shared DSL connection, and backup systems.   We upgraded his current hardware and software to handle the load, and purchased two new systems.  Free Range also handles any support requests via remote control.

After the network, the company needed a complete go-to-market strategy and corporate branding.  We re-vamped his website, http://www.mqproductions.com.  We handled all of the hosting, and of course mailboxes for his entire staff.  To top it off, a simple yet effective CRM package to manage his leads and existing clients.

In 2005 we completely rearchitected the site with MAMBO CMS an incredible free content management system!

Staples Inc.
Staples.com creative department needed an out-of-the-box thinker to build leaner, more attractive pages and product demonstrations.  We produced product demonstrations to allow non-technical people to learn more about cable configurations and business services.

The Equator.com
The Equator.com, the leading source for rural property real estate listings, worked with Free Range to prototype and develop a method for collecting listings from remote sources.  Filemaker Pro 5 was used to build a custom application which enabled The Equator's business partners to gather consistent data, and run their internal business!  This creative application gets into areas of content that were not available through standard Web Form based collection.

The Law Office of Robert W. Landry
Robert Landry's office is another terrific example of what Free Range can do!  Mr. Landry wanted an entire overhaul, new computers, printers, network, high speed internet, electronic faxing, Microsoft Windows 2000 server, Internet mail. 

In addition we built a custom Filemaker Pro database for his needs.  His historical data was imported from his old system, and a new scanning and document processing module was built per his specifications.  Now, instead of ACRES of paper files, when his clients call, he can quickly retrieve the delivered document in PDF format and print a fresh copy.

This incredible job was done with all new, modern operating systems like Windows XP and Windows 2000.  His website is built using Microsoft FrontPage and a custom FrontPage template that we purchased from an independent artist.  The improvement in their office productivity is astounding.

Walton Paving Inc.
Linda Walton needed a complete systems overhaul. Running an old pentium 1, she needed to get a new computer, migrate and convert her Quickbooks and all existing data to the latest formats and update her processes. She now uses Quickbooks 2003 to manage all of her contacts, proposals and invoicing. The improvements in productivity are fantastic! They also got a quick site start!

First, we built an internal office network for them, providing all of the infrastructure they needed with their existing hardware.  Complete Internet presence for their business, dial-up internet, mailboxes for all the employees, and website hosting.

Next, a full EZTouch POS system replaced their old system and register.  We purchased and installed a barcode scanner, barcode printer, receipt printer, cash drawer and touch screen.  Then we converted and cleaned their existing data into the new system, and trained their employees and managers on how to use and maintain the system.  We also offer full support to the system using remote control over the internet.

Lastly, Skatesplus wanted a complete web presence and online storefront.  We decided to go with Open Market's Shopsite to handle the backend, because it was low cost and easy to use.  We even designed a complementary database and process to get their inventory up to the web seamlessly. Skatesplus went out of business in 2002 due to 9-11 economy hits to the NY area.

We also built a custom Filemaker Pro 5 solution to track their invoices and customers, eliminating the old paper ledger!
